32-year-old graphic designer in Austin, Texas. I turn fasting data into visual stories.
I started intermittent fasting in early 2023 because I was tired of counting calories and feeling hungry all the time. As a designer, I'm naturally drawn to data visualization โ so I started tracking everything. Hours fasted. Mood scores. Weight trends. Energy levels. Sleep quality.
After about 6 months, I had this massive spreadsheet that was actually kind of beautiful. But it was also a mess. I thought: what if I turned this into a tool that anyone could use? No signup, no app download, no privacy concerns. Just open the page and start tracking.
That's how FastingTool.org was born. It's literally the tool I wish I had on day one. I still use it every day. And I blog about my experiments โ the wins, the failures, the weird discoveries โ because I think transparency matters when it comes to health stuff.
I don't trust trends I can't measure. Every claim I make is backed by numbers I've collected myself.
If a tool is ugly, you won't use it. I obsess over colors, spacing, and flow so the experience feels effortless.
Your data stays in your browser. No accounts, no servers, no tracking. I don't want your data โ I can't even access it.
I'm always trying new protocols, timing strategies, and combinations. The blog is where I share what actually worked.
Right now I'm doing a modified 18:6 with one 24-hour fast per week (usually Sunday evening to Monday evening). I break my fast around 2 PM on regular days. Coffee with a splash of oat milk in the morning โ I know purists will judge me for that, but it keeps me sane and I've still seen great results.
My biggest win so far: down 8 kg in 4 months, but more importantly, my energy is way more stable. No more 3 PM crashes. My design work actually improved because I'm not thinking about food every 2 hours.
I read every email. Seriously.
